Cobra MOTO Celebrates Four National Championships at the 2023 Loretta Lynn’s AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship

Hillsdale, MI 8/8/2023 – Cobra MOTO, the leading manufacturer of race-ready youth motocross bikes, has once again demonstrated its supremacy in the motocross world by achieving remarkable results at the prestigious 2023 Loretta Lynn’s National Championship. The event, held at the iconic Loretta Lynn Ranch, showcased the exceptional talents of young riders on Cobra MOTO bikes, securing an impressive four national championships and an additional five podium finishes.

In the Micro 2 (4-6) Limited class, Kameron Buckman from Huntington, NY, dominated. He won first place in both Moto 1 and Moto 2, and even in Moto 3, he secured a strong second-place finish. Kameron’s exceptional riding performance showcased his dominance on the track, claiming the top spot on the podium. Edwin Meyer from Adrian, MO, claimed second place, closely followed by Jeffrey Saathoff from Sterling, IL, securing third place in an intensely competitive field.

Kannon Zabojnik from Rowlett, TX, emerged victorious in the Micro 3 (7-8) class with a tenacious display of skill and resilience. Despite starting with a second-place finish in Moto 1, Kannon swiftly rebounded, securing a commanding first-place victory in Moto 2. A fierce battle unfolded between Cobra Elite Riders, Kannon and Abshur Hall, who initially claimed first in Moto 1 but followed with a second-place finish in Moto 2. The tension intensified as both riders entered Moto 3, where unfortunate circumstances led to Kannon and Abshur’s crash. Undeterred, both riders showcased remarkable determination by battling back from adversity, Kannon ultimately securing a sixth-place finish in Moto 3. This effort allowed Kannon to clinch the championship title. Abshur Hall from Morgantown, NC, secured a well-earned second place. Maverick Gresham-Lewis from Yuba City, CA, rounded out the podium with a third-place finish.

Jarrett Tincher from Elkview, WV, emerged as a standout in the Micro-E (4-7) Limited Class, etching his name in Cobra history. Overcoming challenges posed by inclement weather and a treacherous muddy track, Jarrett’s tenacity shone through. After a solid start with a sixth-place finish in Moto 1, he adapted with a victorious first-place finish in Moto 2, followed by an impressive second-place finish in Moto 3. This remarkable feat not only secured Jarrett the championship but also marked a significant milestone as he secured the first-ever Micro-E championship for Cobra MOTO. Justus Pearston from Canton, CT, displayed commendable skills and secured second place, further solidifying Cobra MOTO’s presence in this class.

In the 65cc (7-9) Limited class, we witnessed an exceptional performance by Jaydin Smart from Berry Creek, CA. Smart’s skills and determination were on full display as he fought his way from a 40th position start to an impressive second-place finish in Moto 1. Undeterred by the initial setback, he went on to dominate the field, securing back-to-back victories in Moto 2 and Moto 3 with commanding first-place finishes, leading to the title.
