The final stop on the Road to Loretta’s wrapped up this past weekend at the Archview Regional, and Cobra riders once again delivered championship-caliber performances. With the final qualifying spots secured, Cobra riders now turn their attention to the most prestigious amateur motocross race in the world, the 2026 Monster Energy AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship at Loretta Lynn’s Ranch, taking place August 3-8 in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee.
Leading the Cobra Elite Team headlines was Rydin Williams, who secured his qualification in the highly competitive 65cc (7-9) class. At just seven years old, Williams joins fellow Cobra Elite Team rider Rivers Rice as one of only two seven-year-olds to qualify for the class at this year’s AMA Amateur National Championship.
Cobra Elite Team rider Shannon Tarnow also punched his ticket to Loretta’s, earning qualification in the 65cc (10-11) class and adding another Cobra Elite rider to the championship roster.
Outside of the Elite Team, Cobra riders continued to dominate the final regional of the season. Kruz Galvan delivered a perfect performance in Micro 2, sweeping both motos to earn the overall championship. Edwin Meyer was equally impressive, going 1-1 to capture the 65cc (7-9) Limited title, while Ryker Fitch matched the feat with a perfect 1-1 score to win the 65cc (7-9) championship.
Additional Cobra riders earning valuable Loretta’s qualifications included Brekken Kippley in Micro E, Carson Fritch in Micro 3, Trey Geary in 65cc (7-9) Limited, Jerry Urbanowski III in 65cc (7-9), and Dakota Lee in 65cc (10-11) Limited.
“The final regional always brings a different level of pressure because everyone knows it’s their last chance,” said Marc Canellas, Cobra Elite Team Manager. “To see Rydin qualify as one of only two seven-year-olds in the 65cc class is incredibly impressive, and Shannon stepped up when it mattered most. Kruz, Edwin, and Ryker all put together dominant weekends, and we’re extremely proud of what our Cobra riders accomplished throughout the entire Road to Loretta’s season. Now the focus shifts to The Ranch.”
With regional competition complete, Cobra MOTO now turns its attention to the Monster Energy AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship, held August 3-8 at Loretta Lynn’s Ranch in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee.
