HILLSDALE, Mich. – As the nation’s top amateur motocross racers prepare for the 2026 Monster Energy AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship at Loretta Lynn’s Ranch, one fact stands above the rest: the next generation of champions continues to choose Cobra Motorcycles.
Cobra riders will account for 207 of the 293 entries (70.6%) across the applicable Micro and 65cc classes, reinforcing Cobra’s long-standing position as the premier manufacturer in youth motocross.
Class-by-class representation includes:
- Micro 2 (4-6) Limited: 41 of 42 riders (97.6%)
- Micro-E (4-7): 40 of 42 riders (95.2%)
- Micro 3 (7-8) Limited: 37 of 42 riders (88.1%)
- 65cc (7-9): 30 of 41 riders (73.2%)
- 65cc (7-9) Limited: 27 of 42 riders (64.3%)
- 65cc (10-11): 16 of 42 riders (38.1%)
- 65cc (10-11) Limited: 16 of 42 riders (38.1%)
For decades, Loretta Lynn’s has served as the proving ground for future professional racers, with many of today’s top athletes beginning their careers aboard Cobra motorcycles.
