The Road to Loretta’s continued this past weekend, and Cobra riders once again showed up ready to perform across multiple regional events. From Elite Team qualifiers to standout non-elite performances, Cobra motorcycles were at the front of the field with wins, podiums, and dominant moto scores.
Leading the weekend’s Cobra Elite Team highlights was Boone Lloyd, who qualified for both of his 65cc classes at Baja Acres. Lloyd put together a strong weekend in both 65cc 7-9 Limited and 65cc 7-9, earning second overall in each class and continuing his push toward Loretta Lynn’s.
Cobra Elite rider Rivers Rice also secured his spot in Micro 3, finishing fourth overall at Baja Acres and adding another important Cobra qualification to the weekend recap.
Beyond the Elite Team, Cobra-mounted riders delivered some of the most dominant performances of the weekend. Brantley Faber, Banks Braden, and Cade Swartfager each went P1 in all three motos of their respective classes, sweeping their way through the weekend and taking another major step toward the Ranch.
Faber was perfect in Micro E, Braden controlled Micro 2, and Swartfager topped Micro 3, continuing to showcase the strength of Cobra’s amateur racing platform at the regional level.
“Every year, the Road to Loretta’s shows us who is prepared, who can handle the pressure, and who is ready to take that next step,” said Marc Canellas, Cobra Elite Team Manager. “We are proud of Boone and Rivers for getting qualified, and it was great to see Brantley, Banks, and Cade put together such dominant weekends. These young riders are working hard, their families are putting in the effort, and we are excited to see the Cobra presence continue to grow as we get closer to Loretta’s.”
Additional Cobra highlights from the weekend included strong depth across the Micro and 65cc divisions. At Baja Acres, Cobra riders filled multiple top positions in Micro E, Micro 2, Micro 3, and 65cc classes, including class wins from Faber, Braden, and Swartfager. At Gatorback, Cobra riders also continued to show front-running pace, with wins and podium finishes across the Micro divisions.
