At just seven years old, Rivers Rice has already accomplished what many riders dream of achieving in their entire careers.

Rivers Rice riding Cobra MOTO Bike

The Pennsylvania native’s journey from a determined four-year-old learning the fundamentals to a national champion represents everything the Cobra Elite Team stands for – talent, dedication, and grit.

We’re thrilled to welcome Rivers as our newest Elite Team member.

A Champion’s Journey

Rivers made some waves in 2024 with a solid third-place finish at Loretta Lynn’s in the Micro 1 PW 50 Shaft class – not bad for a five-year-old. He backed that up with a win at the AMA Featured Baja Brawl, showing he belongs with the best young riders in the country.

But 2025 has been where Rivers truly announced himself as a force in youth racing. His perfect 1-1-1 sweep at the Loretta Lynn’s in the Micro 2 (4-6) Limited National Championship was the kind of performance that defines champions – three motos, three wins, zero doubt about who belonged on top of that podium.

The consistency continued throughout the season with first-place overall victories at both the Spring a Ding Ding and Dylan Slusser Memorial Race. When you’re going 1-1-1 at nationals and backing it up with featured event victories, people take notice.

International Experience at Six

Rivers also represented Team USA at the 2025 MX Master Kids event in France, where he grabbed second overall in the 50 7 and Under class, and won the final moto that helped seal Team USA’s overall win. Not many six-year-olds get that opportunity, and even fewer deliver when they do.

The Perfect Fit

What makes Rivers special isn’t just his trophy collection – it’s how he carries himself on and off the track. Team Manager Clay Elliott, who has worked with Rivers since he was four years old, sees something unique in the young rider.

“I couldn’t be more excited to sign Rivers. He is my first rider to sign after taking the role as Team Manager of the Cobra Elite Team,” Elliott said. “It’s special because I’ve been part of his training program since he was 4 years old! Proud is an understatement.”

Rivers brings the combination of natural talent and work ethic that defines Elite Team riders. His humility, determination to improve, and love for racing make everyone around him better.

Looking Ahead

His upcoming schedule includes major events — the Travis Pastrana Pro Challenge, Mini O’s, and Daytona Amateur Supercross. His goals are straightforward: stay consistent, keep improving, and start preparing for the move up to 65cc competition.

“I’m really pumped and excited to be on Cobra Elite and I’m ready to make more of my dreams come true!” Rivers said.

That’s the mindset of a champion – hungry for more and ready to put in the work.

Welcome to Excellence

Rivers Rice has already proven he can win at the highest levels of youth racing. His addition to the Elite Team isn’t just about adding another champion to the roster; it’s about investing in a young rider as he continues developing his skills and chasing bigger goals.
