Rydin Williams riding a Cobra MOTO bike

Seven-year-old Rydin Charles Williams from Brooksville, Florida, just became the newest member of the Cobra Elite Team, and his 2025 season speaks volumes about why he earned that spot. With six major titles under his belt and a second-place finish at Loretta Lynn’s, Rydin has proven he can win anywhere, anytime.

Championship Collection

Rydin’s 2025 season shows what consistency looks like. He captured titles at the Mature National Arena Cross, Ricky Carmichael Daytona Amateur Supercross, Spring a Ding Supercross, Oak Hill GNC Motocross, Freestone, and the Baja Brawl, plus a Regional victory at SOB. That’s the kind of season most riders dream about.

His runner-up finish at Loretta Lynn’s capped off a breakthrough year, building on the foundation he laid in 2024 with a third-place finish at Mini O’s Supercross as a six-year-old. When you’re finishing on the podium at events like that, it’s clear you belong with the best.

Family Connections

Rydin brings some serious racing DNA to the Elite Team. His older sister is Raycin Kyler, who made history this year as the first female rider to win an open class at Loretta Lynn’s and represented Team USA at the World Championship in France. Having that kind of talent and experience in the family doesn’t hurt when you’re developing as a young racer.

Perfect Timing

Team Manager Clay Elliott sees something special in Rydin’s approach to racing and the support system around him.

“It’s really cool to work with Rydin Williams! He may only be 7 but with the guidance of his family and specifically his older sister Raycin Kyler, he has the tools to reach any goals he sets,” Elliott said.

Rydin’s excitement about joining the Elite Team was evident after his Baja Brawl victory. On the way home from Baja, Rydin said, “Mom, I can’t believe I’m a Cobra Elite rider and won the overall. That’s so cool!”

What’s Next

Rydin will be busy with upcoming events at Ponca, Bonnie and Clyde, and Mini O’s, competing across multiple platforms including the Cobra Jr., Cobra FWE, and Cobra E-bike. His goals are clear: capture more championships, begin transitioning to the 65cc class, and keep developing the consistent riding style that’s brought him this far.

That’s the mindset you want from a young racer – ambitious but focused on the fundamentals.
