Eight-year-old Wyatt Tedesco of Tecumseh, Oklahoma, goes by Wy. He lives by one rule: “Pain is weakness leaving the body.” And he has already won at Loretta Lynn’s twice.
We are proud to welcome Wyatt to the Cobra Elite Team.
A Record Built at Loretta’s
Wyatt has made the most important race in amateur motocross his personal proving ground. His 2025 season included the AMA National Championship in the Micro-E class, a first overall at the South Central Regionals in Micro-E, and a first overall at the Guthrie National AX in the same class. He added a third overall at Ponca Moto Playground in the 50 Open class to round out a consistent year across multiple platforms.
Those results build on an earlier Loretta Lynn’s title. Wyatt is a two-time national champion before the age of nine.
The Mindset Behind the Results
Team Manager Clay Elliott has watched a lot of young riders come through this program. What stands out about Wyatt goes beyond the trophies.
“I’m excited to have Wyatt on the program,” Elliott said. “He has proven to be a mentally tough competitor. It always makes our job easier when you’re working with a rider who wants to win as badly as Wyatt and knows how to win.”
Wyatt’s own words reflect the same focus.
“When I set a goal, I achieve it,” Tedesco said. “I wanted to see my picture under the Cobra tent at Loretta’s. I have worked hard to become a Cobra Elite Rider and I’m grateful for this opportunity. I will continue to work hard to become the best rider I can be.”
Life Off the Track
When Wyatt isn’t racing, you can find him fishing, building Segway tracks, or riding pit bikes with his friends. His favorite food is seafood, and he’s happy to devour a plate of crab legs. Wyatt has two dogs, Kia and Revin, a cat named Mika, and some chickens. Motocross is his life, but he keeps it balanced.
What’s Next
Wyatt will compete in the 50cc 7–8, 65cc 7–9 Limited, and 65cc 7–9 classes across a 2026 schedule that includes the Guthrie National AX, Spring Nationals, Loretta Lynn’s, Ponca, Mini O’s, and the AZ Open. His goals are specific: win Loretta Lynn’s on the 50 and finish top 5 on the 65.
When asked to sum up his goals, his answer is simple: “To win.”
That is the right answer.
Welcome to the Family
Wyatt Tedesco already has the results, the mindset, and the work ethic. Now he has the support of the Cobra Elite Team program behind him.
We can’t wait to see what he does next.
